|
|
This is one that ended up on the plus side for me, but it shouldn't have.
I went to a local carwash to use the vacuums. I wanted to get rid of a lot of debris in my trunk. I went to the first machine, and put in 2 quarters. Sounded fine. Then...oops...the third quarter kind of went sideways...so, mmm, I wasn't sure and it didn't start, so I figured I would risk one more. Nope. Nothing. And, then I notice there is no coin return -- no button, no return slot!
Ok. What are the odds since there seem to be a lot of people here...so I go to the other side of the island and use that vacuum. Takes my 3 quarters fine...but no suction worth using!
I look for a phone number...email...website...company name? Nothing. For some reason though, I store it in my memory to get in contact with Brown Bear.
So, I get home, fire up the email and write a note to Brown Bear Car Wash about their facility on Kent East Hill. They write back: what facility?
Oops. I go back there to check it out...and sure enough, it kind of has the style of a Brown Bear, but no signs.
I write back and send apologies. Hoping to save the situation, I recommend that they consider buying the carwash and making it a Brown Bear so this never happens to me again!
They like the idea and say they have been looking for a place on Kent East Hill! They ask for my address to send me some free coupons!
Score! (Although, I believe that people who scout out new franchise locations are paid somewhat more, typically...but then again, the catch phrase is The First One Is Free!) |
