Discombobulated Blues
---------------------------

My horoscope had told me that it wasn't my day
The stars they weren't aligning in their usual way
The planets were a whizzing, going ever' which way
And The moon just kept insisting getting back in the fray

Its a miracle that most of us have mostly survived
A galactic / sun alignment and the first Saturn Five
The minute that you got here, you'd already arrived
So all I can say is
its all downhill from here.

I had breakfast for dinner
and my supper for lunch
ate my best midnight snack
in the bright noonday sun

[I] Don't know what I'm eating,
But its opposite of brunch
So if you're off'ring broc'li
Then all I can say is
thanks a bunch.

Discombobulated blues, I got the discombobulated blues
I been combobulated too, and it weren't no picnic neither.

I ordered breakfast for dinner
and drank my supper for lunch
saved my [best/last] midnight snack
for the bright noonday sun

Then all I can say is
thanks a bunch.
