A Luv That Lasts 4ever (Like Those Special First Class Stamps)

Verse:
Twitter those words I've been longing to skim,
those two little words that mean oh so so so.
"Luv Ya" she texts, from her heart, with her thumbs,
and a smiley you know that came straight from her soul

Chorus:
A luv that lasts forever
Like those special first class stamps.
[It's] a hookup made in heaven,
[Like] the stuff of True Romance.

I wanted to tweet words that she would hold dear,
But 2 little words might be overmuch.
"Luvya" (all one word) reveals all my feels and
saves keystrokes and spaces and shifting and such.

**************

I don't understand how we lost what we had,
I miss one small space, and so now *I'm* the jerk?
Our phones are the same, but we're on different plans
I should have predicted it never could work

voice boxes all full, no reply to my tweets,
no response when I faxed her, or beeped her, to meet
"could not be completed" still rings in my ear,
and thumbs still are sore from the texting, my dear,

Unheeded on Facebook, unfriended and blocked.
I framed the court order as proof of our love
and think of those feels in the food court that night,
both mocking the clothes from the movie we saw.
