The runaway concept of corporation as person leads me to say "go with it...they are persons".

I wonder corporations have needs just like people.

For instance, I see some that have very deep emotional problems. Some that want to be loved. Others...just plain psychotic.

Many corporations, for example, focus on "killing the competition". The idle do-gooder, may plead for businesses "to be saved" or for "jobs to be preserved", but most know the reality. Kill is the object of a well organized business.

Still, sometimes there appear to be irrational kills...businesses killing businesses that have no impact on one's markets, or worse, which could have been beneficial. The classic Scorpion killing the Frog on whose back he rides...killing both.

This behavior as a word. Psychopath. The psychopathic personality is that of the serial killer...or the bully who tells someone to look over there -- and then slaps them on the back of their head.

For example, I still don't get why Microsoft killed Netscape by releasing its own browser. There was no chance of them building an OS...and Microsoft never made a dime on its browser, Internet Explorer. Plus the integration of browser with OS was not only often criticized in legal venues, but it was just a cumbersome and bad idea...witness that Netscape reappeared as the now dominant, and unlinked to an OS, Firefox.

So, some corporations act psychopathically, and one doesn't have to look far for the evidence. But more important...what does one do about it.

Asked another way, can you fit 100,000 people on a couch?

That I don't know anything about.
