I've used before, and was satisfied with the result.

Since I needed some checks printed, I thought of them again.

They'll send you a small number of business cards, checks, etc.
for only the cost of "shipping and handling". That is about $8.

Being affected by some savvy marketing, I persuaded myself I needed
a higher quantity and a special feature for a total of $17.

This is a higher price than the bank offered, but I was invested in
the extra value of the choices I'd made, and besides, it was pretty

So, I bought it. At checkout I was given a chance to get a $10
discount. Scam meter was pegged. But Vistaprint had done okay
for me before, so I decided to try it. I'd be a member of a club
and I'd be billed monthly. But I could cancel anytime and still
get the discount. I did a couple of little experiments, and then
signed up. I had to go through many pages of offers that I
declined. I then immediately canceled, and prepared to
check that everything went okay.

Five hours later I received an email that told me how to get my
discount. When I went there I could not access the web page
because my account was canceled. Sure enough, my bank
account had not been credited. Gotcha!

I sent them a note, and they answered a day or two later, giving
instructions. The instructions led me to a website which did not
admit me because my account was canceled. Gotcha!

Did they have some pity on me? Maybe. They let slip that
had I gotten to that page, I'd be mailed a form in 3-4 weeks
that I could fill out and send in along with my Vistaprint receipt.
They didn't mention any of this beforehand. And I wonder whether
they'd have the same response if I had waited to cancel my account
by 24 hours: sorry your account has been cancelled. Gotcha.

To Vistaprint, my advice: drop this program. It has the contours
of a scam. Save your good name and reputation.
