I've been really irritable the last 24 hours.

(Also, other people seem to be irritable with me. Case in point: the normally congenial fellow who runs my favorite wine shop nearly bit my head off today while I asked a question about some overpriced Chianti.)

Plus my chest feels like someone is sitting on it. This can sometimes be mold, causing asthma.

However sometimes both these things seem to coincide with small earthquakes in the region.

Wonder if we'll see one...?

If not...another theory shot to pieces!

So far the Columbia Tower is still standing...and most of my headache is gone.

Goodbye to that theory!

Although...Ma'am...just one thing bothers me...

Checking the PSN Events

http://www.pnsn.org/events?date_end=2012-2-21&date_start=2012-2-7&mag_max=10&mag_min=-2&order=desc&page=2&sort_by=event_time_utc

There seems to be a high quantity of little quakes in the last two days.

For example in the list above, there was only one quake on Saturday.

But there were 8 quakes on Sunday, and there were 6 quakes today (and the day isn't over yet).

Also I added up the magnitudes, and on Sunday it came out to 6, and today, it's already at 7.6.

And, to my experience, people 'round here are still way grouchy...

Posted link to this thread at:

Taking notice of some very grouchy, explosive reaction in the thread discussion.

In general the over top type of "reactive" comments are what I am keying to.

Lots of arguments today, phone and in threads.

Dogs barking.

Lots of errant car drivers, bad turns, exceeding lane.

We'll see.

Well I was about to give up on this.

Then I read there was just a few hours ago a big one in Chile.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/04/17/us-quake-chile-idUSBRE83G04J20120417

No, I have no intention of trying to sell you on it being a correlation.

It's just enough to keep me from giving up.

Again, going by "sense", I was feeling very dizzy, disoriented this morning (earthquaky?), and driving, there seemed to be a lot of disorientation...drivers crossing the lane markers a lot. This was around the time of the afternoon. Also, a website I use a lot had big trouble with its data center power and just came back up an hour ago.

So this conjecture is something like some kind of "pressure" prior to the earthquake causes these things, behaviors, and yes, people have used dogs, animals in the past, but here I'm noting perceived human behavior prior to an earthquake.

So, nothing for you here, this is local thread for local people so far...until it becomes more.

Lots of chest compression, dizziness this morning.

Then some explosive blog comment flaming around 8pm.

However, tensions then subsided.

Seemed more like a build up and then maybe a retraction.

No earthquakes reported.

3.8 in Cali.

Can't say that I felt a thing or could point to any grouchiness.

http://www.cnn.com/2012/04/28/us/california-quake/

I will have to put this one on the back shelf until I see more correlation or figure out what the correlation, if any, is!

High degree of strangeness related to anger in Seattle area.

Many shootings and killings, some gang related, other disputes during the last week. Today 4 people were killed by the same person due to what has been called an interpersonal argument.

Moderate-High degree of flaming on social media (is it time/possible to create an index or metric for this...)

Still don't know what if anything these "perceptions" can be linked to in the environment.

Earthquake activity has dropped to nil in the PNW region according to USGS.

Just collecting data.
