It is really time for people to trim back on the amount of software.

There is really just too much of it, and its starting to get in the way.

The real thing people want is knowledge and information, accessible with queries.

The best medium for this is's small, quick and efficient.

Yet, software manufacturers have spent the last 20 years convincing people that they would rather manipulate slow, cumbersome "GUIs".

The public has shown a proclivity towards streamlined messaging.

Cell phones with a very simple push button interface.

Text messaging on black berries.

IM and chat as a way of meeting people.

Blogs are 99.9 textual diaries that let people share experience.

Text is really what the Web is all about...the real web, the one that is 1:1 and communication oriented.

I cast browsers, GUIs and other technology as forced interfaces, that can never match the speed and efficiency of text.

That doesn't mean I'm anti-visual. I love movies, photographs and so on. But they are not to be used as a manipulation language.

Text is the best manipulation language.

Hence the Texeme Construct's motto:

English is the best programming language.
