Thank you for taking the time to sign the petition to our president-elect and congressional leaders, encouraging them to provide explicit funding for biking and walking in the economic recovery package.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy will deliver the petition with your name and the many others who believe that balance is critical to our nationís transportation system.

Please ask at least five friends to sign the petition:

I helped create the web site for http://www.trikke.com and I purchased 3 of their Trikkes. They are great exercise and a lot of fun to ride, but the ones I used had the polyurethane wheels and needed a smooth trail, with enough width to enjoy the s-swerve pattern while riding.

I found some good trails to ride in Vancouver and Portland (including across the 205 bridge!), and was suddenly very happy for all those who went before me and pushed for getting bike trails in so many places. I now live in Spokane and not as much has been done to support bike lanes and trails here but there is some.

Thanks for the link; I am an avid supporter of trails!
